From the desk

Dear Readers,

It is already September, and I haven’t updated my website.

My silence isn’t due to writer’s block. In fact, I’ve been exploring new directions. At the editor’s request, I’ve started a column titled The Poets Among Us for the local Northern Westchester County newspaper, The Recorder, along with posting my free monthly mini-essays on Substack called Missives from the Edge.

The most exciting news is that my historical novel (now The First Nellie Kelly, formerly The Ingenue) has been selected by Sibylline Press for publication on March 27, 2026. The prepublication steps include retitling the book. I will announce the new title when I get it, and explain how to pre-order an e-copy or print book.

Hopefully, you had a summer full of ease and good books.
